Cotrim Ephac 480 mg (Sulfamethoxazole 400 mg + Trimethoprim 80 mg)

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections due to susceptible organisms: urogenital infections (particularly prostatic), acute bronchopulmonary infections, otitis media, digestive infections including typhoid fever and sigmoiditis, infections due to Pneumocystis carinii and Toxoplasma gondii.

Ingredients

• Sulfamethoxazole 400 mg
• Trimethoprime 80 mg

Direction

Oral route. Adults: 2 tablets twice daily with meals. Follow the prescribed doses.
