Vitaxon 500 mcg

Indication

Treatment and prevention of peripheral neuropathy, including diabetic neuropathy. Used as an activated neuro-haematinic factor (activated form of Vitamin B12).

Ingredients

• Mecobalamin 500 mcg

Direction

One tablet three times a day for two months, or as directed by the physician.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated. May include nausea
• diarrhoea
• or mild gastrointestinal discomfort. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if allergic reaction or irritation occurs.

Precautions

• To be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner only. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
