Indication

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to lower blood glucose, when diet, physical exercise and weight reduction alone are not adequate, as a monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents.

Ingredients

• Glimepiride USP 2 mg

Direction

Take orally as directed by the physician, usually once daily shortly before or with the first main meal. See the package insert for full prescribing information. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Side effects

• Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
• Weight gain
• Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and abdominal discomfort
