Indication
- Post-operative wound protection - Superficial wound coverage - Waterproof barrier for showering - Protection against bacteria and contaminants - Securing primary dressings or catheters
Ingredients
- Polyurethane film and Acrylic adhesive
Direction
Apply to clean, dry skin after removing the protective backing. Smooth the edges firmly to ensure a waterproof seal over the wound.
Side effects
- Local skin redness
- Itching at application site
- Allergic reaction to adhesive
- Skin maceration if left too long
Precautions
- Do not use on infected wounds
- Ensure skin is dry before application
- Single use only to maintain sterility
- Monitor for signs of skin irritation
- Do not stretch during application
