Indication
- Surgical wound protection - Securing and protecting catheters - Coverage of superficial wounds - Waterproof barrier for showering/bathing - Prevention of friction-related skin damage
Ingredients
- Polyurethane film and Acrylic adhesive
Direction
Apply the adhesive side to clean, dry skin covering the wound or catheter site. Ensure the edges are smoothed down to create a waterproof seal.
Side effects
- Local skin irritation
- Allergic reaction to adhesive
- Redness at application site
- Pain or tearing upon removal
Precautions
- Do not use on infected wounds
- Ensure skin is free of creams
- Monitor for skin maceration
- Do not use if packaging is damaged
