Indication
- Emergency contraception - Prevention of pregnancy - Unprotected sexual intercourse - Contraceptive failure follow-up
Ingredients
- Levonorgestrel
Direction
Take one tablet orally as soon as possible, preferably within 12 to 72 hours after unprotected intercourse.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Fatigue and tiredness
- Headache and dizziness
- Breast tenderness
- Changes in menstrual bleeding
Precautions
- Not for regular routine contraception
- No protection against HIV/STIs
- Avoid if pregnancy is confirmed
- Monitor for ectopic pregnancy symptoms
- Efficacy decreases with increased body weight
