Indication
- Allergic conditions - Rheumatoid arthritis - Bronchial asthma - Systemic lupus erythematosus - Severe skin diseases - Endocrine disorders - Immune system disorders
Ingredients
- Methylprednisolone
Direction
Take orally with food or milk to minimize stomach irritation. Dosage must be adjusted by a physician and should not be stopped abruptly.
Side effects
- Increased appetite and weight gain
- Moon face (Cushingoid appearance)
- Muscle weakness
- Stomach discomfort or irritation
- Delayed wound healing
- Mood changes or insomnia
Precautions
- Do not stop abruptly
- History of peptic ulcers
- Patients with diabetes mellitus
- Active or latent tuberculosis
- Systematic fungal infections
- Hypertension or heart failure
