Indication

Used to lower high cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood and to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events. Belongs to the statin group of medicines.

Ingredients

• Rosuvastatin (as calcium) 10 mg

Direction

Adults: usually one tablet (10 mg) once daily, at any time of day, with or without food, as directed by the physician.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• muscle aches
• nausea or abdominal pain. If you experience unexplained muscle pain
• tenderness or weakness
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease or muscle disorders
• and limit alcohol. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
