Indication

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and chronic stable angina and vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive or antianginal medicines.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine besilate 6.983 mg equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usually one capsule taken orally once daily. Read the package leaflet before use.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• flushing
• ankle or leg swelling (oedema)
• dizziness
• tiredness and palpitations. If you experience any side effects

Precautions

• Do not use during pregnancy unless there is no therapeutic alternative. Use with caution in patients with severe liver impairment or heart failure. This medicine may affect the ability to drive
