Betaloc ZOK 50 mg

Indication

Controlled-release beta-blocker used for the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and stable symptomatic chronic heart failure, and to reduce cardiovascular risk after myocardial infarction.

Ingredients

• Metoprolol succinate 47.5 mg corresponding to Metoprolol tartrate 50 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. The tablets or half-tablets should be taken once daily with water; do not crush or chew them.

Side effects

• May cause tiredness
• dizziness
• slow heart rate
• cold hands and feet
• headache and shortness of breath. If you experience any side effects
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not stop treatment abruptly. Use with caution in patients with asthma
• diabetes
• peripheral circulatory disorders and certain heart conduction problems. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
