Indication
- Dehydration due to acute diarrhea - Fluid loss from vomiting - Electrolyte imbalance - Maintenance of hydration during illness
Ingredients
- Sodium Chloride
- Potassium Chloride
- Sodium Citrate
- and Dextrose (Glucose) anhydrous
Direction
Dissolve the entire 21.8g sachet in 1 liter of previously boiled and cooled water. Drink the solution in small, frequent sips as needed or as directed by a healthcare provider.
Side effects
- Vomiting if consumed too quickly
- Over
- hydration if taken excessively
- Hypernatremia if mixed with too little water
Precautions
- Use only the specified volume of water
- Discard prepared solution after 24 hours
- Caution in patients with kidney impairment
- Consult doctor if symptoms worsen significantly
