Exforge 5 mg / 160 mg

Indication

A combination of a calcium channel blocker (amlodipine) and an angiotensin II receptor blocker (valsartan) used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on a single agent.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine 5 mg
• Valsartan 160 mg

Direction

Take orally as directed by the physician, usually one film-coated tablet once daily. Medicinal product subject to medical prescription.

Side effects

• May cause dizziness
• headache
• swelling of the ankles or feet (edema)
• fatigue or flushing. If you experience any side effects

Precautions

• Not for use during pregnancy. Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver impairment
