Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections such as community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial sinusitis, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Ingredients
- Moxifloxacin (as HCl) 400 mg
Direction
Use as prescribed by the physician. The usual adult dose is one 400 mg tablet once daily; complete the full course of treatment.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- diarrhea
- dizziness
- headache
- and QT prolongation. Tendon inflammation or rupture may occur rarely. If you notice any side effects
- consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Not recommended in patients with a history of QT prolongation
- tendon disorders
- or hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones. Use with caution in the elderly. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
