Co-Tasmi 40 mg / 12.5 mg

Indication

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan alone.

Ingredients

• Telmisartan 40 mg
• Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usually one tablet taken by mouth once daily, with or without food.

Side effects

• May cause dizziness
• headache
• low blood pressure
• and changes in blood electrolytes. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any effect persists or worsens.

Precautions

• Do not use during pregnancy. Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver impairment
• dehydration or gout. Inform your doctor of all medical conditions and medicines. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
