Rivaxo 10 mg

Indication

Anticoagulant (direct factor Xa inhibitor) used for the prevention of venous thromboembolism (deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism), including after hip or knee replacement surgery, and to reduce the risk of stroke in certain patients.

Ingredients

• Rivaroxaban 10 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usually one 10 mg tablet once daily, with or without food.

Side effects

• May increase the risk of bleeding and bruising. May also cause nausea
• anaemia and dizziness. If unusual bleeding
• side effects persist or worsen
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Increases bleeding risk
• use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders
• liver or kidney impairment
• or taking other anticoagulants. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially if pregnant or breastfeeding.
