Indication

A calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to prevent chest pain (angina).

Ingredients

• Amlodipine (as amlodipine besilate) 5 mg

Direction

Take one tablet daily, or as prescribed by the doctor. Do not exceed the indicated dose.

Side effects

• May cause ankle swelling
• flushing
• headache
• dizziness or palpitations. If symptoms persist or worsen
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Use with caution in severe liver impairment and in the elderly. Do not stop treatment suddenly. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant
• breastfeeding or if you have any medical condition.
