Indication
- Severe nodulocystic acne - Severe recalcitrant nodular acne - Acne unresponsive to standard therapies
Ingredients
- Isotretinoin
Direction
Take orally with food. Usually administered once or twice daily as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Dry skin and lips
- Dry eyes and nose
- Nosebleeds
- Joint and muscle pain
- Increased sun sensitivity
Precautions
- Highly teratogenic
- causes birth defects
- Do not use during pregnancy
- Avoid blood donation during treatment
- Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight
- Monitor liver function and lipids
- May cause depression or mood changes
