Indication

Sterile intravenous solution for fluid and electrolyte replacement and maintenance, providing free water, sodium, chloride and carbohydrate calories in patients unable to maintain adequate oral intake, administered under medical supervision.

Ingredients

• Dextrose monohydrate 5 g per 100 mL
• Sodium chloride 0.45 g per 100 mL

Direction

For intravenous infusion only, administered by a physician or qualified healthcare professional. Dose, rate and duration are individualized to the patient's fluid, electrolyte and caloric needs. Do not use unless the solution is clear and the container is undamaged; discard any unused portion.
