Paracetamol 500 mg

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and of fever (febrile states).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 500 mg

Direction

Adults and children from 15 years: 1 to 2 tablets per intake, repeated after 4 hours if needed, without exceeding 8 tablets per day. Children 13 to 15 years: 1 tablet per intake, repeated after 4 hours if needed, without exceeding 6 tablets per day. Children 8 to 12 years: 1 tablet per intake, repeated after 6 hours if needed, without exceeding 4 tablets per day. Reserved for adults and children from 8 years.

Side effects

• Uncommon: skin rash or allergic reactions (including
• rarely
• serious hypersensitivity).
• Rare: blood disorders such as thrombocytopenia.
• Overdose can cause serious
• potentially fatal liver damage.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to paracetamol and in hepatocellular insufficiency.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose can cause severe liver damage.
• Avoid alcohol and take care when combined with other paracetamol
• containing medicines.
