Paracetamol 500 mg

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or febrile states (fever).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg

Direction

Adults and children from 15 years: 1 to 2 capsules per intake, repeated if needed after 4 hours, not exceeding 8 capsules per day. Children 8 to 12 years: 1 capsule per intake, repeated after 6 hours if needed, maximum 4 capsules per day. Children 13 to 15 years: 1 capsule per intake, repeated after 4 hours if needed, maximum 6 capsules per day.

Side effects

• Paracetamol is generally well tolerated at recommended doses.
• Rare allergic skin reactions such as rash or itching may occur.
• Overdose can cause serious liver damage.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to paracetamol.
• Contraindicated in hepatocellular insufficiency (liver failure).
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
