Carbotoux 100 mg / 2.5 mg per 5 mL

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of troublesome, non-productive cough, in particular when it predominantly occurs at night, in children and adults.

Ingredients

• Carbocisteine 100 mg/5 mL
• Promethazine hydrochloride 2.5 mg/5 mL

Direction

For adults and children over 2 years old. Child 24 to 30 months: 15 to 20 mL per day divided into 2 doses. Child 30 months to 12 years: 20 to 30 mL per day divided into 2 doses. Child 12 to 15 years: 30 to 45 mL per day divided into 2 doses. Adult: 45 to 60 mL per day divided into 2 doses.

Side effects

• Promethazine may cause drowsiness
