Alaxan FR 200 mg / 325 mg

Indication

For the relief of mild to moderately severe pain of musculoskeletal origin such as myalgia, arthritis, rheumatism, sprain, strain, bursitis, tendonitis, backache and stiff neck; for the relief of tension headache, dysmenorrhea, toothache, and pain after tooth extraction and minor surgical operations; and for the reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 200 mg
• Paracetamol 325 mg

Direction

Usual adult dose: 1 capsule every 6 hours, or as prescribed by a physician.

Side effects

• Ibuprofen + Paracetamol may cause stomach bleeding and liver damage
• there is an increased risk of GI ulceration
• bleeding and perforation with chronic NSAID use.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to paracetamol
• ibuprofen
• aspirin or other NSAIDs
• and in patients in whom bronchospasm
• angioedema or nasal polyps are precipitated by NSAIDs. Do not use with other products containing ibuprofen or paracetamol
• not for more than 10 days for pain or 3 days for fever unless directed by a doctor.
