Carbotoux 100 mg / 2.5 mg per 5 mL

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of troublesome, non-productive (dry) cough, in particular when it predominantly occurs at night.

Ingredients

• Carbocisteine 100 mg per 5 mL
• Promethazine hydrochloride 2.5 mg per 5 mL

Direction

For adults and children over 2 years old. Children 24 to 30 months: 15 to 20 mL per day in 2 divided doses. Children 30 months to 12 years: 20 to 30 mL per day in 2 divided doses. Children 12 to 15 years: 30 to 45 mL per day in 2 divided doses. Adults: 45 to 60 mL per day in 2 divided doses.

Side effects

• May cause drowsiness or sleepiness (due to promethazine).
