Indication

Natural dietary fibre that acts as a bulk-forming laxative. Increases stool bulk, helps maintain regularity of bowel movements and relieves constipation. Orange flavour.

Ingredients

• Ispaghula Husk

Direction

Mix one sachet with about 150 ml of cool water, milk, fruit juice or other liquid, stir briskly and drink immediately, followed by an additional glass of water. Adults and elderly: one sachet 1-3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: half the adult dose.

Side effects

• May cause bloating or flatulence
• especially at the start of use. If side effects persist
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not ingest the powder without sufficient liquid and do not mix in hot water. Drink the mixture immediately
• do not take at bedtime
• and do not take while having abdominal pain
• nausea or vomiting. Keep out of the reach of children.
