Augmentin 875 mg / 125 mg

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, ear, nose and throat infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin (as amoxicillin trihydrate) 875 mg
• Clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate) 125 mg

Direction

One 1 g tablet twice daily. To be used as directed by your physician. Swallow whole with a glass of water, preferably at the start of a meal. Use tablets within 14 days of opening.

Side effects

• May cause diarrhoea
• nausea
• or skin rash. If side effects occur
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Not for use in those allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins. Store in a dry place
• do not store above 30 degrees C. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
