Indication

Third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as respiratory tract, ear, throat, and urinary tract infections. Strawberry-flavoured dispersible tablet.

Ingredients

• Cefixime 200 mg (as Cefixime trihydrate BP)

Direction

Disperse the tablet in one tablespoonful of previously boiled and cooled water before administration, or as directed by the physician.

Side effects

• May cause diarrhoea
• nausea
• abdominal pain or skin rash. If side effects occur
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.
