Fenoget 200 mg

Indication

Lowers elevated blood lipids. Used as an adjunct to diet to reduce high triglycerides and cholesterol in adults with hypertriglyceridaemia or mixed dyslipidaemia.

Direction

As directed by the physician or see package insert for full prescribing information. Usually taken once daily with a meal.

Side effects

• May include stomach upset
• nausea
• diarrhoea
• headache
• raised liver enzymes and muscle pain or weakness. Consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Not for use in severe liver or kidney disease or gallbladder disease. Report unexplained muscle pain
• tenderness or weakness promptly
• especially if combined with a statin. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
