Indication

Antifungal used to treat fungal infections including skin, nail, oral and vaginal candidiasis, pityriasis versicolor, dermatophyte infections and systemic mycoses.

Ingredients

• Itraconazole

Direction

Take capsules orally immediately after a full meal, swallowed whole. Dose and duration depend on the infection being treated and must be determined by a doctor.

Side effects

• May include nausea
• abdominal pain
• indigestion
• headache
• dizziness
• rash and abnormal liver function tests. Rarely heart failure or serious liver injury. Consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Not for patients with heart failure or during pregnancy. Interacts with many other medicines
