Moxiget 400 mg

Indication

Fluoroquinolone antibiotic film-coated tablet used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, including respiratory tract, sinus, skin and soft tissue infections.

Ingredients

• Moxifloxacin hydrochloride equivalent to Moxifloxacin 400 mg

Direction

Take by mouth as directed by the physician, or see the package insert for full prescribing information. Complete the full course of treatment.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• diarrhoea
• dizziness
• headache and abdominal discomfort. Rarely tendon pain or rupture
• changes in heart rhythm
• or severe allergic reactions may occur. If serious or unusual effects occur
• stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Prescription only. Fluoroquinolones may cause tendon inflammation or rupture
• nerve problems and effects on the heart rhythm. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially in case of heart disease
• epilepsy
• myasthenia gravis
• pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not take with antacids
• iron or calcium at the same time.
