Indication
- Anxiety and tension relief - Pruritus (itching) and hives - Chronic urticaria - Pre-operative sedation - Control of nausea and vomiting
Ingredients
- Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally with or without food. Frequency depends on the condition, usually 3 to 4 times daily or as needed for itching.
Side effects
- Drowsiness and sleepiness
- Dry mouth
- Blurred vision
- Dizziness
- Headache
Precautions
- Causes significant drowsiness/sedation
- Avoid alcohol and other depressants
- Caution with glaucoma or prostate issues
- Monitor for QT interval prolongation
- Avoid during early pregnancy
