R-Mycin 150 mg

Indication

A macrolide antibiotic used to treat susceptible bacterial infections, including infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, ear, nose and throat, skin and soft tissue, and genito-urinary infections (non-gonococcal).

Ingredients

• Roxithromycin BP 150 mg

Direction

As directed by physician. Usually taken before meals. Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• diarrhoea and skin rash. If any side effect occurs or persists
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to macrolide antibiotics. Use with caution in patients with liver impairment. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant
• breastfeeding or taking other medicines
• particularly ergot alkaloids.
