Indication

Treatment of symptoms and conditions with difficult expectoration: acute or chronic bronchitis, and bronchiectasis after surgery. Bromhexine has an expectorant action that increases the output of respiratory tract fluid, changing a dry unproductive cough to one that is more productive and less frequent.

Direction

Usual adult dosage: 2 ml per dose, 3 doses daily, by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. Administration under a physician's direction.
