Indication

- Essential hypertension (high blood pressure) - Cardiovascular risk reduction - Prevention of myocardial infarction - Stroke prevention in high-risk patients

Ingredients

Telmisartan

Direction

Take one tablet orally once daily with or without food. Tablets should remain in their blister pack until immediately before use to protect from moisture.

Side effects

Dizziness
Back pain
Upper respiratory tract infection
Sinusitis
Diarrhea
Fatigue

Precautions

Contraindicated in pregnancy (fetal toxicity)
Monitor for hyperkalemia (high potassium)
Risk of hypotension (low blood pressure)
Use caution with renal impairment
Avoid with dual RAAS blockade
