Indication

As a bronchodilator for the relief of bronchospasm in obstructive airway diseases such as bronchial asthma. For use in a nebulizer.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol sulfate

Direction

For use in a nebulizer only. Not for intravenous use. Dosage as directed by the physician. Discard unused ampoules three months after opening the foil pouch. See the package insert before use. Dispensing without prescription is prohibited.

Side effects

• May cause fine tremor (especially of the hands)
• headache
• palpitations
• tachycardia
• nervousness
• muscle cramps or throat irritation. Rarely
• paradoxical bronchospasm
• low blood potassium or hypersensitivity reactions may occur. If you experience any unusual or severe symptoms
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not use if you are allergic to salbutamol or any component of this product. Use with caution in patients with hyperthyroidism
• heart disease
• arrhythmia
• hypertension or diabetes. Increasing need for the medicine may indicate worsening asthma and requires medical review. Serum potassium should be monitored during severe attacks. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding
• or taking other medicines. Not for intravenous use. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
