Indication
- Major depressive disorder - Obsessive-compulsive disorder - Bulimia nervosa - Panic disorder - Premenstrual dysphoric disorder
Ingredients
- Fluoxetine
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, typically in the morning. It can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Nausea and digestive upset
- Insomnia or sleep disturbances
- Sexual dysfunction or decreased libido
- Dry mouth and sweating
- Loss of appetite and weight
Precautions
- Monitor for suicidal thoughts or behaviors
- Do not use with MAO inhibitors
- Risk of serotonin syndrome when combined
- May increase risk of bleeding
- Do not stop treatment abruptly
