Indication
- Prevention of heart attack - Prevention of stroke - Acute coronary syndrome - Peripheral arterial disease - Recent myocardial infarction management
Ingredients
- Clopidogrel
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food. Consistency in timing is important for effectiveness.
Side effects
- Increased bleeding
- Easy bruising
- Nosebleeds
- Gastric irritation
- Rash
Precautions
- Risk of serious or fatal bleeding
- Discontinue 5 days before elective surgery
- Avoid with omeprazole or esomeprazole
- Monitor for thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP)
