Indication
- Prophylaxis of angina pectoris - Management of chronic stable angina - Prevention of exercise-induced angina
Ingredients
- Glyceryl Trinitrate (Nitroglycerin)
Direction
Take orally as directed by a physician, typically two to three times daily. Tablets must be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed.
Side effects
- Throbbing headache
- Dizziness and lightheadedness
- Facial flushing
- Orthostatic hypotension
- Tachycardia (rapid heartbeat)
Precautions
- Do not use with PDE5 inhibitors
- Risk of severe hypotension
- Use caution in severe anemia
- Avoid sudden treatment withdrawal
- Risk of closed
- angle glaucoma aggravation
