Indication
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) symptoms - Difficulty urinating due to enlarged prostate - Acute urinary retention secondary to BPH
Ingredients
- Alfuzosin hydrochloride
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, immediately after the same meal each day. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Upper respiratory tract infection
Precautions
- Risk of postural (orthostatic) hypotension
- Avoid with severe liver impairment
- Use caution with kidney disease
- Do not use with CYP3A4 inhibitors
- Avoid with other alpha
- blocker medications
