Indication

Topical treatment of herpes simplex skin infections, including cold sores and genital herpes.

Ingredients

• Acyclovir 5% w/w

Direction

Apply to the affected area five to six times daily for 5–10 days, starting as early as possible, or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

• Local burning
• irritation
• dryness
• or allergic skin reactions may occur.

Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid the eyes
• mouth
• and broken skin unless directed.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
