Colergis Betamethasone 0.25 mg / Dexchlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg per 5 mL

Indication

Treatment of allergy when corticosteroid therapy is needed.

Ingredients

• Betamethasone 0.25 mg per 5 mL
• Dexchlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Use only on medical prescription. Ages 2-6 years: 1.25 mL every 4-6 hours, maximum 7.5 mL/day; ages 6-12 years: 2.5 mL every 4-6 hours, maximum 15 mL/day; ages 12 years and above: 5 mL every 4-6 hours, maximum 30 mL/day. The dose should be individualized and reduced to the lowest effective dose.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dizziness or reduced alertness may occur.
• Corticosteroid effects and allergic reactions may occur
• report undesirable effects to a doctor.

Precautions

• Prescription medicine containing 5% alcohol
• use cautiously when driving or operating machinery.
• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• consult a doctor and use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.
