Canasone C.B. Clotrimazole 1% w/w / Betamethasone 0.1% w/w

Indication

For inflamed fungal skin infections including tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis and cutaneous candidiasis caused by susceptible fungi.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 1% w/w
• Betamethasone 0.1% w/w (as betamethasone dipropionate)

Direction

Apply sparingly to clean affected skin and the surrounding area twice daily, rubbing in gently, or use as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

• itching
• irritation
• dryness
• rash or swelling may occur.
• Prolonged corticosteroid use may cause skin thinning
• stretch marks
• colour changes or secondary infection.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid the eyes and keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use longer
• over larger areas or under occlusion than directed
• stop and seek medical advice if irritation
• allergy or worsening infection occurs.
