Mediclovir 5% w/w

Indication

For herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and herpes labialis, including initial and recurrent genital herpes.

Ingredients

• Acyclovir 50 mg per g

Direction

Apply to the affected area five times daily at approximately four-hour intervals. Continue for 5 days; if healing is incomplete, continue for another 5 days.

Precautions

• For cutaneous use only. Avoid the eyes and the inside of the mouth or nose. Do not use if allergic to acyclovir or any ingredient.
