Indication

Prescription bronchodilator for rapid relief of reversible bronchospasm in asthma and other obstructive airway disease, and prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol sulfate equivalent to salbutamol 100 micrograms per actuation

Direction

Shake well before use. Adults and adolescents over 12 years: inhale 1–2 actuations as needed for acute bronchospasm, or as prescribed. Correct inhaler technique is essential; do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Side effects

• Tremor
• headache
• fast heartbeat
• palpitations
• muscle cramps
• or throat irritation may occur.
• Seek urgent care for paradoxical bronchospasm
• chest pain
• severe allergy
• or marked fast or irregular heartbeat.

Precautions

• Prescription use only. Seek medical attention if relief is shorter

• more inhalations are needed
• or symptoms worsen.
• Tell the clinician about heart disease

• low potassium
