Indication

Prescription treatment of certain serious fungal infections only when a physician determines that the benefits outweigh the risks and effective alternatives are unavailable or not tolerated.

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole 200 mg

Direction

Use only at the dose and for the duration directed by a physician. Do not self-treat superficial fungal infections with oral ketoconazole.

• headache
• dizziness
• itching
• or rash may occur.

Precautions

• Oral ketoconazole can cause severe or fatal liver injury and requires medical monitoring.
• It has many potentially dangerous medicine interactions
• provide the prescriber with a complete medicine list.
• Do not use with underlying liver disease
• seek urgent care for jaundice
• dark urine
• severe fatigue
• or persistent nausea.
