Indication

For physician-directed treatment of susceptible bacterial infections in adults, including certain respiratory, skin, urinary tract, prostate, and uncomplicated gonococcal infections.

Direction

Prescription medicine. Take exactly as directed by the physician and complete the prescribed course. Read the enclosed leaflet before use.

Side effects

• Nausea
• diarrhea
• headache
• dizziness
• or insomnia may occur.
• Serious effects can include tendon inflammation or rupture
• peripheral neuropathy
• central nervous system effects
• or severe allergy.

Precautions

• Stop treatment and seek medical advice promptly for tendon pain
• numbness or tingling
• severe neurologic symptoms
• or an allergic reaction.
• Avoid in people with myasthenia gravis unless specifically prescribed
• kidney impairment may require dose adjustment.
