Indication

Obtains a small capillary blood sample with a compatible lancing device.

Ingredients

• Sterile fine
• gauge tri
• bevel blood lancet.

Direction

Load into a compatible lancing device, twist and pull off the protective cap, lance once, then place the used lancet in a puncture-resistant sharps container.

Side effects

• Brief pain
• bruising
• bleeding or local infection may occur.

Precautions

• Single use only. Do not use if the protective cap was removed or damaged. Never share or reuse
• dispose as a sharp.
