Indication
Mucolytic treatment to thin thick respiratory mucus.
Ingredients
- Acetylcysteine 200 mg per sachet
- contains aspartame and sorbitol.
Direction
Dissolve in water. Ages 2–7: one sachet twice daily; over 7 years: one sachet three times daily.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- headache
- rash or bronchospasm.
Precautions
- Not for children under 2. Seek advice for asthma
- ulcers
- pregnancy
- or medicines affected by aspartame/sorbitol.
