Indication

Relief of mild to moderate muscular, traumatic, dental, headache, postoperative, postpartum, and menstrual pain.

Ingredients

• Mefenamic acid 500 mg

Direction

Adults: take 500 mg initially, then 250 mg every 6 hours for the shortest appropriate duration; take immediately after meals and follow the prescription.

Side effects

• Indigestion
• stomach pain
• nausea
• diarrhea
• headache
• dizziness
• rash
• ulcer
• or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur.

Precautions

• Avoid with aspirin or other NSAID allergy
• ulcer or inflammatory bowel disease
• significant kidney or liver disease
• dehydration
• or late pregnancy unless prescribed.
