Indication
- Progesterone deficiency - Menstrual cycle regulation - Menopause hormone therapy (HRT) - Prevention of preterm birth - Luteal phase support in IVF - Treatment of secondary amenorrhea
Ingredients
- Progesterone (Micronized)
Direction
Administered orally or vaginally as directed. Oral doses are usually taken at bedtime to minimize dizziness.
Side effects
- Drowsiness or dizziness
- Breast tenderness
- Irregular spotting or bleeding
- Nausea
- Bloating or weight changes
Precautions
- History of blood clots or stroke
- Severe liver disease
- Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding
- Suspected breast or genital cancer
- Monitor if diabetic or hypertensive
