Indication

Treatment and prevention of gout flares and other colchicine-responsive conditions when prescribed by a physician.

Ingredients

• Colchicine 1 mg per tablet

Direction

Take orally exactly as prescribed; colchicine has a narrow safety margin and the prescribed dose must not be exceeded.

Side effects

• Diarrhoea
• nausea
• vomiting
• and abdominal pain may occur
• severe gastrointestinal or muscle symptoms require urgent medical advice.

Precautions

• Prescription medicine
• do not use above the prescribed dose or combine with interacting medicines without medical advice.
• Tell the physician about kidney or liver disease and stop seeking advice if severe diarrhoea
• vomiting
• weakness
• or muscle symptoms occur.
